Orthopaedic Cancer

The orthopaedic oncologists at the NSLIJ Orthopaedic Institute specialize in the treatment of bone and soft-tissue tumors and other malignancies relating to the musculoskeletal system.

The Institute's orthopaedic oncology services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of specialists who provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal tumors.

Our orthopaedic surgeons (performing biopsy and removal of bone and soft-tissue tumors), work in conjunction with diagnostic radiologists (specializing in the use of X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, bone scans, and other radiation-based techniques for diagnosing cancer), radiation oncologists (prescribing, administering, and monitoring cancer-killing radiation), and pathologists (examining tumor samples to determine a tumor's type).

For a referral to one of our orthopaedic professionals , please call (866) 914-9393.
