VALLEY STREAM, NY— The Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (CECR) recently introduced their renovated occupational and physical therapy gymnasiums, covering an additional 900 square-feet of space to accommodate a growing number of patients. The redesigned gyms provide more room for patients, new furniture arrangements for optimal traffic flow and enhanced lighting and color schemes to promote a healing environment.

The Orzac CECR was recently ranked by US News & World Report  among the 18 top nursing homes nationwide based on stellar health inspection ratings, nurse-to-patient staffing ratios and the attainment of quality measures outlined by the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (http://www.cms.gov/). The new gyms enhance the experience of both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation patients and are aimed at improving patient satisfaction.
