This elective includes rounds at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York discussion of the pediatric surgical patients including laboratory data and X-rays and scrubbing on pediatric surgical cases in the Operating Room. During office hours, Tuesdays and Fridays, from 2-5 pm, the student may examine pre- and post-operative cases and listen to the discussions between the parents and the surgeons. Students may attend weekly pediatric surgical conferences.
