The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, through the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York and its member hospitals, is able to treat the whole child, not just the illness. Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York
Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York is a tertiary (teaching) hospital committed to comprehensive care of children, from infants to young adults. The hospital has 154 beds arranged in separate units on five floors. Each has their own nursing and social work staffs, as well as playrooms.

The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System staff is dedicated to providing the best in care to our neonatal patients. Be they well or sick, the hospitals in our system are equipped with specialists to treat them.

Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York Consultation Centers, in Kings, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties, offer specialized care for children right in their own communities. These easily-accessible outpatient facilities are staffed by consulting specialists who work with the family's own pediatrician to treat chronic and acute medical conditions.
