Service Location
Perioperative services include the Operating Room and Pre and Post Anesthesia (PPACU) located on the third floor of the hospital, the Eye Surgery Center and Pain Management Unit located on the second floor.

Scope and Complexity of Patient Care Needs
All locations of perioperative care provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for patients, personnel, and family and visitors in order to provide optimum assistance to surgical and anesthesia providers in meeting the surgical and anesthesia needs of patients. The staff provides quality, competent and cost effective care with respect for life and dignity at each stage of the human experience. Patients in the immediate post-operative phase are under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist/CRNA who maintains responsibility for the needs of the patient until the patient is discharged from the post anesthesia care unit, whether on the third floor or on the second floor.
