Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Plainview Hospital
Service Location
Treatment is provided at the bedside.
Services Provided
The physical therapist restores function lost due to injury or disease, expands a patient's movement potential and helps to prevent complications resulting from disability or pain. In all cases, movement is promoted through physical means. Following a thorough evaluation that gathers information about the patient's abilities, disabilities and prior level of function, a treatment program is designed to meet the patient's needs. Different treatment approaches along with patient education help to achieve our goals. The physical therapist, along with the healthcare team, works with the individual in providing a safe plan for discharge from the hospital.
