If you are looking for that one-on-one professional care dedicated exclusively to your recovery, North Shore-LIJ Staffing Services, a member of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, can provide Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants and Companions. Our personnel are all employees of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and meet the health system’s rigorous standards. All employees are bonded, insured and screened with background and reference checks.

The Care You Need From Hospital to Home
We will help you plan the type of care needed in the hospital or at home. RegionCare, a New York State Department of Health licensed agency, provides assistance at the hospital bedside and in the home environment.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost of service is dependent upon the skill level of the personnel that you request.

| Certified Nurse Assistant | $18.00 per hour weekdays $20.00 per hour weekends and evenings |
| Companions | $18.00 per hour weekdays $20.00 per hour week-ends and evenings |
How Do I Pay for Private Duty Care?
For your convenience, North Shore-LIJ Staffing Services is happy to accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard or American Express, which is billed weekly. If you wish, you may pay by check or money order by placing your payment in an envelope to give to the nurse or aide at the end of each shift. All checks should be made payable to North Shore-LIJ Staffing Services.
What about Insurance?
Most insurance policies do not reimburse for private duty nursing services. Check with your insurance provider before the start of service.
