Luz E. Valencia-Penagos, MS, RD, CNSC, has been with North Shore University Hospital since 1990. She received her undergraduate degree in Food Science and Dietetics from Queens College of the City University of New York. She completed her dietetic internship and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury.
