The Department of Radiology is a consultative service that offers a full range of imaging modalities to meet the needs of our inpatient population and communities. The department performs studies on patients of all ages and all levels of acuity. All technical personnel providing radiology services are licensed by the New York State Department of Health and have appropriate training, in-service education and ongoing competency assessment. The department offers state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and techniques.

Diagnostic Imaging Center
The North Shore-LIJ Diagnostic Imaging Center is a full-service outpatient radiology department equipped with the newest imaging technologies available and all examinations are performed and interpreted by physicians who are certified by the American Board of Radiology and have advanced subspecialty fellowship training.

Neurointerventional Radiology
The Neurointerventional Radiology Program has been established to bring complex interventional procedures to patients on Long Island who previously had to travel to New York City for them.
