In honor of Dr. Samuel Packer's years of dedication, commitment, and service to the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, it is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that the Department of Ophthalmology is establishing the "Samuel Packer Alumni Research Fund". The purpose of this fund will be to foster clinical and basic research enabling us to further our commitment to providing service excellence, quality patient care and research.
