Schneider Children’s Hospital Patients Head to North Pole

NEW HYDE PARK, NY -- During this year's Fantasy Flight to the North Pole, Rudolph personally greets one of the hundreds of guests from Schneider Children's Hospital who were invited to LaGuardia Airport to visit Santa. Through the courtesy of US Airways, children from the Hematology/Oncology Unit of the hospital, along with their parents, visit the airport every year. After a brief taxi around the runway (during which the children are told to close their eyes and dream of the North Pole), they leave the Airbus and are treated to music, gifts, food, and ...of course…Santa and Mrs. Claus.
