A full range of outpatient surgical procedures are performed at the North Shore-LIJ Ambulatory Surgery Center, including, but not limited to:

• Gynecology
• Urology
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery

The procedures done at the center are relatively uncomplicated, with anticipated stays of less than 23 hours. Your surgeon will decide if this center, or a hospital setting, is more appropriate for your personal needs.
