Southside Hospital is a 371-bed community hospital that offers quality care in medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecological and pediatric specialties. Southside is also well-known for its extensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Among these are the highly respected Regional Center for Brain Injury Rehabilitation, which provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for persons with brain injuries. Southside offers advanced radiation therapy for outpatients and inpatients in the Frank Gulden Radiation Oncology Center. The hospital also has extensive mental health services and is currently expanding its Radiology Department, Maternity Center, Same-Day Surgery Center, Vascular Institute, Center for Wound Healing, Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program, Pain Management Program and Emergency Department.
