If your doctor has asked you to have a diagnostic x-ray at Southside Hospital, this is what you need to do:

• Make certain you have a prescription for the x-ray studies from your doctor.
• Call the radiology receptionist at (631) 968-3290 for an appointment.
• On the day of your appointment, go to the Outpatient Cashier to give insurance information.
• Get directions to the Radiology Department from that office.
• After your studies have been made and evaluated, your doctor will call you with x-ray results.
