| The program provides outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services for children with medical illnesses and under treatment at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. The program serves children and adolescents who are medically ill. Methods include inpatient and outpatient therapy and medication management. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that may include specialized services such as relaxation training, pain management, psychoeducation, individual, group and or family therapy. |
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm. Some evening hours are available.

Have physician, psychologist or social worker call the office of consultation and liaison at 718/516 470-3550. For non-emergency outpatient services of medically ill children, call (718) 470-3511 or (516) 470-3511.
Insurance Accepted:
Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurances are accepted. In addition, a sliding scale fee may also be arranged.
Directions:
Northern State Parkway (Grand Central Parkway) or Long Island Expressway to exits for Lakeville Road South. From Northern State, second traffic light on Lakeville is driveway for Long Island Jewish. Turn right, park in lot, walk to Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. Ambulatory Service is on first floor.
