Thanks to Symbol Technologies, Inc., children enrolled in the Barbara C. Wilson Preschool Development Program will have access to new technology that is essential to their curriculum.

The $15,000 grant from Symbol Technologies will provide the school with six computer stations equipped with interactive software and touch-screens, specially designed to meet the needs of children challenged with language development disorders.

A part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, the preschool is staffed with special educators, language pathologists, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and neuropsychologists, who all work closely with the children and their families.
