MINEOLA, NY -- Chefs and representatives from local restaurants and vineyards will be on hand to provide samples of their signature dishes, wines and beer at a fundraiser for the Tender Loving Care (TLC) Foundation, scheduled for Thursday March 31, at 6:30 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association, 15th and West Streets, Mineola. The TLC Foundation raises funds for support programs geared toward families of newborns treated in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) at the North Shore-LIJ Health System's Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York http://www.northshorelij.com/ccmcny/home in New Hyde Park and Manhasset, NY. Sick and critically ill newborns often spend weeks or months in the NICUs receiving highly specialized care, putting an enormous strain on families.

Over 200 people attended the TLC Foundation’s first Tasting For Tots event last year, when more than $25,000 was raised.
