Lenox Hill Hospital will hold its annual A Healthy Give & Take Luncheon on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Metropolitan Club located at One East 60th Street.
Now in its thirteenth year, this informative luncheon themed “Is it an Emergency,”will highlight important situations to consider before visiting the emergency department. Premiere event sponsors are TD Bank and Tibbetts Keating & Butler, LLC.
Padma Lakshmi, will receive the Healthy Give & Take Award. She is the author and host of Bravo TV’s “Top Chef.” Along with Dr. Tamer Seckin, an attending Lenox Hill Hospital physician, she co-founded The Endometriosis Foundation of America.
Tamara Kuittinen, MD, Attending Physician of the Department of Emergency Medicine will moderate a panel of Lenox Hill Hospital clinical staff.
Jane-Iris Farhi, MD, a Cardiologist, Carleigh Gustafson, RN, Director of Nursing for the Emergency Department and Laurie Hirsh, MD, an Orthopedic Surgeon will bring an insider’s perspective to the processing and care inside the emergency department.
Proceeds from the 2011 A Healthy Give & Take Luncheon will support an array of outstanding services at Lenox Hill Hospital that promote the health of women and their families.
