Winnie Mack, RN, BSN, MPA

Southside Hospital
Ms. Mack is the second nurse to serve as executive director at a North Shore-LIJ hospital. Prior to her promotion, she served as Southside Hospital's vice president of patient care services and deputy executive director. In these roles, she strengthened relationships with the hospital's physicians as well as built and expanded clinical programs to fortify Southside's position in a very competitive market, and worked to overcome financial challenges.
Ms. Mack has more than 35 years of healthcare experience as a nurse and administrator. Before joining Southside in 2005, she was chief nurse executive and associate executive director of patient care services at Franklin and Syosset Hospitals. Prior to this position, she held a number of high-level administrative and nursing positions at Continuum Health Partners' Beth Israel-St. Luke's Roosevelt Health System in New York City, Winthrop University Hospital, Nassau University Medical Center, and Stony Brook University Hospital.
Ms. Mack earned a master's degree in public administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus.
