Huntington, NY- Mark your calendar for “An Evening on the Red Carpet,” Huntington Hospital’s annual black-tie gala scheduled for Thursday, December 8 at Oheka Castle. The event’s honorees are Jim and Yvette Loughlin of Huntington. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit construction of a new inpatient care unit at Huntington Hospital. Tickets are $350 each. This elegant evening will begin with cocktails at 7:00 PM, followed by dinner at 8:00. Special features of this year’s extravaganza are a limited raffle for a two year lease of a 2012 Jaguar XF, Volvo S60 or Range Rover Evoque, a Vegas-style casino, musical entertainment, and a live auction featuring an original oil painting by world-class impressionist Diane Monet and a custom-created Le Vian Chocolatier collection pendant with a 2.0 carat total diamond weight in 18 karat strawberry gold courtesy of Libutti Jewelers.

Jim and Yvette Loughlin have supported construction of Huntington Hospital’s new inpatient unit through their Loughlin Charity Golf Outing, which raised more than $110,000 in September. Both Jim, a partner in LM + Co., a New York City-based consulting firm, and Yvette cited numerous positive encounters with the hospital as part of their desire to support this project.

Located in shell space created when our 72,000 square-foot Surgical Services pavilion was constructed in 2004, the new 13-bed unit will include private rooms with baths, showers and sleeping accommodations for family members. This project incorporates a Patient-Family Care model representing the future of healthcare at Huntington Hospital.
