Old Westbury, NY- Old Westbury Gardens was a blaze of color on September 14, when Partners Council for Women’s Health and the North Shore-LIJ Health System held the 19th Annual Fall Luncheon & Fashion Show. The glamorous afternoon, sponsored by Americana Manhasset and featuring the Etro Fall 2011 collection, attracted over 600 guests and raised a total of more than $450,000 for Katz Women’s Hospitals and Katz Institute for Women’s Health. WABC-TV Eyewitness News co-anchor, Diana Williams, served as Master of Ceremonies.
The runway at this year’s Fall Luncheon & Fashion Show was alight with reds, golds, greens and incredibly patterns adorning garments made for both men and women. Etro started as a textile house and showcased their trademarked paisley patterns throughout their fall fashion line.
This past spring, Katz Women’s Hospital at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset opened and as we get ready for winter, we can look forward to celebrating the opening at LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park. Katz Women’s Institute, along with both hospitals, are dedicated to improving the health of women throughout their lifespan in services and education, reflecting the heart of our commitment to the community.
Partners Council for Women’s Health of the North Shore-LIJ Health System has raised over close to $6 million to help buy important equipment, fund critical research projects and build programs for the betterment of the women in our community. We look forward to celebrating the council’s 20th anniversary next spring.
