Joining a support group and talking to people who are going through situations similar to yours can provide just the encouragement and friendly help you need to have the best recovery experience possible. We invite you to attend one or more of these convenient support groups:

After surgery, patients at North Shore University Hospital, LIJ Medical Center or Southside Hospital are invited to a "Welcome Back Conference." This is an opportunity to speak to your surgeon after your procedure and meet other patients who have had cardiac surgery. Please ask your doctor for more information.
