Cohen Children's Medical Center is committed to patient care that is delivered in a professional and courteous manner, respecting the dignity and rights of our patients and staff. Should patients' families have any questions, problems or concerns about their experience at Cohen Children's Medical Center, they may notify any member of the healthcare team. Normally, the nurse manager on the unit can handle most issues quickly and efficiently. However, if further assistance is needed, please contact the Patient Relations Department.

Patient Relations will help in resolving concerns, getting suggestions to the right people, passing along compliments, assisting families with services we offer or referring them to other resources.   A representative is available Monday through Friday and can be reached at (516/718) 470-3134.

On evenings and weekends, the hospital's administrative director for nursing (ADN) is available to address patient/family concerns. After hours, speak with someone from your healthcare team and ask to have the ADN paged.
