Professional Education
The Children's Heart Center at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is committed to its role as a leading academic center in pediatric cardiology through weekly and monthly conferences. These learning opportunities are designed for educating physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals on the most up to date diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery.

Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program
The Children's Heart Center at Cohen Children's Medical Center strives to provide exceptional teaching and mentoring to guide our fellows to become skilled pediatric cardiologists, scholarly thinkers, critical investigators and valuable members of the pediatric cardiology community.

Medical Student Electives in Pediatric Cardiology

Cardiac Catheterization and Surgical Conference
Cardiac Catheterization and Surgical conference is held weekly on Monday afternoons at the Children's Heart Center for cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care physicians, physicians-in-training and nurses to discuss patients with heart disease. This multidisciplinary conference offers an opportunity to review and discuss patients with complex and challenging cardiovascular issues.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit is offered to all physicians who attend this conference. Physicians in private practice and from other institutions are always invited to present their own patients for discussion. Please contact Dr. David Meyer at 718-470-3580 for more information.

Pediatric Grand Rounds
Pediatric Grand Rounds at Cohen Children’s Medical Center is available on your computer via streaming media. Presentations are approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit for up to one year from the presentation date.
