Cardiovascular Surgery

The division of pediatric cardiovascular surgery at Cohen Children's Medical Center is one of the largest volume pediatric cardiac programs in New York State, and the largest on Long Island. It is the primary center for pediatric cardiovascular surgical care in the North Shore-LIJ Health System, and one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the country. The division performs approximately 300 cardiac and thoracic procedures per year.
