Pediatric Oncologic Surgery

Our surgeons provide specialized pediatric surgical care to infants and children with benign and malignant tumors.  Tumor biopsies are performed using advanced techniques, including minimally-invasive technologies such as thoracoscopy and laparoscopy (video surgery).  As members of a multidisciplinary tumor board, our pediatric surgeons work with a dedicated team of pediatric specialists consisting of:

• Radiologists
• Radiotherapists
• Social workers
• Psychologists

These specialists determine the optimal treatment for your child, including; surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation. As active members of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), our oncology team provides patients with the most advanced therapies available.
