Pediatric Trauma Center

Cohen Children’s Medical Center has been designated as one of three, Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in New York State. Utilizing a highly-trained and broadly-experienced team, we coordinate the complex care of children who have experienced severe and life-threatening injuries.  Our trauma team works to evaluate and stabilize these children, in collaboration with:

• Pediatric emergency medicine physicians
• Pediatric orthopedists
• Pediatric critical care physicians
• Pediatric anesthesiologists
• Pediatric radiologists

Our trauma center team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
