"Cohen Physician's Recognized by National Committee for Quality Assurance"

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized the physician's from the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Cohen Children's Medical Center.

Dr. Phyllis Speiser, Chief, Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and her staff; Drs. Dennis Carey, Pavel Fort, Graeme Frank, Yeouching HSU, and Paula Kreitzer have been recognized by the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program (DPRP) for their skill in providing the highest-level diabetes care to their patients.

NCQA developed the Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP) to provide clinicians with tools to support the delivery and recognition of consistent high quality care. This voluntary program is designed to recognize physicians and other clinicians, who use evidence-based measures and provide excellent care to their patients with diabetes.

• Blood Pressure control
• LDL control
• Eye examinations
• Nephropathy Assessment
• Smoking status and cessation advice or treatment
