In a series of stories this week about "reasons to love New York," New York magazine highlights Cohen Children's Medical Center's Steven Schneider, MD, and Harold Rekate, MD, director the Chiari Institute, in this story for their success in removing a tumor from a five-month-old Texas boy whose family brought him to CCMC a few months ago. Drs. Schneider and Rekate performed two hypothalamic hamartoma surgeries on the boy.
