The Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism

Welcome to the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism

It is estimated that one in every 250 children born has some form of autism. While there is no known cause or cure, the North Shore-LIJ Health System is working to educate, increase awareness and provide exemplary services and support to those children in need through the newly established Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism.

The Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism helps families to obtain comprehensive assessments, family support and information on the latest research. As a dedicated satellite facility located in Bethpage, New York, it offers comprehensive outpatient diagnostic and assessment services through a unique multidisciplinary team approach for children and adolescents. In addition, the center offers a multitude of school consultation services and is available to assist schools in all aspects of program development for students with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Our clinical approach includes critical family input and has evolved through a proven base of knowledge and clinical research. The center also offers outpatient services.
