Dr. Richard Furie's interests lie in the management of patients with lupus and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. He is particularly active in clinical research aimed at advancing new therapies for rheumatic disease patients.

Dr. Maria-Louise Barilla-LaBarca is in charge of the educational programs for students, interns and residents. She plays a vital role in the training of rheumatology fellows. Her clinical interests lie in the musculoskeletal symptoms that performing artists develop.
Robert Greenwald, M.D.

Dr. Robert Greenwald has had a long standing interest in arthritis. His research focuses on the role of metalloproteinases in the destructive processes seen in arthritis patients.
Avram Goldberg, M.D.

Dr. Avram Goldberg directs the Scleroderma and Raynaud's Treatment Center. He is particularly interested in the prospects of drug development for scleroderma.
Galina Marder, M.D.
Director, The Inflammatory Muscle Disease Center and The Vasculitis Center
Dr. Galina Marder is interested in inflammatory rheumatic diseases and has extensive experience in lupus, myositis and vasculitis. She has recently established two programs, The Inflammatory Muscle Disease Center and The Vasculitis Center.
