Rheumatologists see patients in a state-of-the-art ambulatory site.In addition, they take care of outpatients in the clinics of North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Consultative care is administered to inpatients of both hospitals as well.

From the West:
The Long Island Expressway (I-495) may be approached in several ways including the Midtown Tunnel, Grand Central Parkway, or the Cross Island Parkway. Exit the LIE at Exit 33 marked Lakeville Road and Community Drive. Make the first right from the service road of the LIE onto Lakeville Road. Travel south for approximately one mile and make a left onto Marcus Avenue. Go east for about one-half mile, and 2800 is on the left. Rheumatology is located on the second floor in suite 200.
From the Grand Central Parkway/Northern State, exit at Lakeville Road (exit 25). Make a left on Marcus. Go east for about one-quarter mile, and 2800 is on the left.
From the East:
From the Northern State, exit at 26S (New Hyde Park Road).Travel south for one mile to Marcus Avenue. Make a right and go for about one-half-mile. 2800 is on the right.
From the Long Island Expressway (I-495), exit at 34 (New Hyde Park Road). Make a left onto New Hyde Park Road. Travel south for approximately one-half mile and make a right onto Marcus Avenue. Go another one-half mile, and make a right at the entrance for 2800 MarcusAvenue.
The Port Washington Branch of the LIRR stops in Great Neck and in Manhasset. The stations are a couple of miles from the office. Taxi service is available at the stations.
LaGuardia Airport is about 15 miles from the office and John F. Kennedy International Airport is about 20 miles away. You can call North Shore Transportation (516-627-0900) ahead of time to pick you up from either airport.
By Car (Westbound)
Take the Long Island Expressway (Route495) to Exit 33. At first light, turn right onto Community Drive. The Hospital's main entrance (Entrance 3) is approximately one-half mile down on the right-hand side.
By Car (Eastbound)
Take the Long Island Expressway (Rte.495) to Exit 33. Turn left onto Community Drive (2nd left). The Hospital's main entrance (Entrance 3) is approximately one-half mile down on the right-hand side. The hospital may also be reached via Northern Blvd. (Rte. 25A). Turn south off of Northern Blvd. onto Community Drive. The hospital's main entrance (Entrance 3)is approximately three-quarters of a mile down on the left-hand side.

The hospital is a short cab ride away from Long Island Rail Road stations in Manhasset or Great Neck. For travel information, call the Railroad at (718) 217-LIRR, (516) 822-LIRR or (631)231-LIRR.
Long Island Expressway -Eastbound
Exit 33 - Lakeville Road; from service road make right turn onto Lakeville Road; proceed south one mile to the Medical Center entrance on right.
Long Island Expressway - Westbound
Exit 33 - Lakeville Road; proceed on service road to second traffic light; make left turn under Expressway overpass onto Lakeville Road; proceed south one mile to the Medical Center entrance on the right.
Grand Central-Northern State Parkway - Eastbound
Exit25 - Lakeville Road; make right turn onto Marcus Avenue and proceed to traffic light; make left turn onto Lakeville Road; proceed south 3/10 mile to Medical Center entrance on the right.
Grand Central-Northern State Parkway - Westbound
Exit 25 - Lakeville Road;exit under the underpass; bear right around cloverleaf (heading south); entrance to the Medical Center on the right.
Cross Island Parkway - Northbound or Southbound
Exit onto Long Island Expressway (Route 495) - eastbound or onto Grand Central Parkway; see above for instructions for exits.
Union Turnpike - Eastbound
Make left at 271st St.;proceed two blocks to the Medical Center entrance.
Northern Boulevard - Eastbound or Westbound
Turn south onto Lakeville Road; proceed two miles to the Medical Center entrance on the right.

The garage can be reached either from the Lakeville Road or 271st St roadways. For your convenience, there is Valet Parking service at the main entrance of Long Island Jewish Hospital.
By Subway & Bus
IND "E" or "F" train to the Union Turnpike (Kew Gardens)express station, (25 mins from Times Square). Use last car of the train and leave the station via the 78th Ave exit. Take the City Line Q46-(LIJ Hospital/Lake Success) bus to the last stop at the LIJ Medical Center, (40mins).
The North Shore Towers Express Bus to and from Manhattan operates 7 days a week and stops at Union Turnpike and 260th and 265th St a few blocks from The Zucker Hillside Hospital and also stops at the Medical Center bus stop on Lakeville Road. Eastbound - Buses depart Jamaica (165th St/Jamaica Bus Terminal) at 7:07am terminating at Great Neck LIRR Station and at 7:44am and 7:57am (terminating at Community Drive, Manhasset). At other times, take Route N22/22A Jamaica -Roosevelt Field - Hicksville and transfer to Route N25 Lynbrook - Great Neck at New Hyde Park Road and Hillside Ave, New Hyde Park
Westbound - Buses depart Community Drive, Manhasset, at 4:30pm and 4:40pm and terminate in Jamaica (165th St/Jamaica Bus Terminal). At other times, take RouteN25 Great Neck - Lynbrook and transfer to Route N22/22A at Hillside Ave and New Hyde Park Road, New Hyde Park.
