Mental Health Services

Whether the problem is memory loss, mood disturbance, depression, anxiety or difficulty coping with losses and transitions, or behavioral disturbances that interfere with care at home or in a long-term setting, Geriatric Psychiatry Programs will work with a patient and his or her support system to relieve symptoms and maximize quality of life.

All psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists, internists, social workers, occupational therapists and nurses on the Geriatric Psychiatry Programs' multidisciplinary teams are specifically trained to diagnose and treat older patients.

We strive to address the diverse mental health needs of the community by providing a continuum of high-quality emergency, inpatient and outpatient services; education and training in psychiatry and its related disciplines; and expanding knowledge in the behavioral sciences through clinical research:
