VISITING HOURS
Visitors are welcome 24/7.
Patients can choose who can and can’t visit them while they are in our healthcare facility without regard to legal relationship, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
Children are welcome to visit a family member, but those under the age of 16 should be supervised by a responsible adult during their visit.
Surgical Waiting Area
Family members or friends may wait for a patient in surgery in the main lobby. If you are waiting for a patient in surgery, please give your name to the receptionist at the desk in the lobby. You will be notified when the patient is out of surgery.
DIRECTIONS
Plainview Hospital is centrally located and accessible by car, bus or Long Island Rail Road.
Long Island Expressway
Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 44 South (Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway/Route 135). Take Route 135 to Old Country Road. Turn left on Old Country Road. Hospital is approximately ¼ mile down on the left.
Northern State Parkway
Take the Northern State Parkway to Exit 36A (Route 135 South). Follow above directions to hospital.
Southern State Parkway
Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 28A North (Route 135 North). Take Route 135 to Old Country Road. Turn right off exit. Hospital is approximately ¼ mile down on the left.
By railroad:

PARKING
There is ample free parking on both the east and west sides of the building.
