Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a New York State Department of Health-designated Regional Perinatal Center (RPC) for the entire borough of Queens. This designation acknowledges our ability to provide the highest level of obstetric and neonatal care in the region.

Our obstetrical and neonatal staffs are highly qualified and capable of providing care to women experiencing a complicated pregnancy, as well as to infants requiring specialized care in a neonatal intensive care unit.

As an RPC, we provide perinatal consultation and transport service to hospitals in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.
