Prostate MRI
This study is used to evaluate the prostate gland. The main indications include evaluation for extra-capsular tumor extension in a patient with known prostate cancer, patients with a history of prostate cancer and rising PSA and patients with rising PSA and negative biopsies. The latest advanced imaging of the prostate is used with multi-parametric evaluation including dynamic contrast enhancement. Preparation includes a fleet enema the night before the study. The study takes approximately 45 minutes.
