The Zucker Hillside Hospital Location

The Zucker Hillside hospital is located on the border of New York City’s Borough of Queens and suburban Nassau County where metropolitan New York meets scenic Long Island.

It is located only 15 miles east of Manhattan, close enough to live there and commute, as many of our attendings and residents do, and certainly close enough to enjoy the nightlife and culture on nights and weekends.

The hospital is also only 15 minutes away from some of the finest beaches in the country. The Residency Program takes advantage of some of the beauty that Long Island has to offer during our two annual residency retreats. In the fall, the mini-retreat is held in Woodbury, NY, while the spring retreat is held in scenic Montauk.

Residents in the program live all around the hospital. Many live in resident housing adjacent to the hospital, some enjoy living in the urban setting of Manhattan, while some prefer the quiet atmosphere of Long Island.
