This center treats neurological memory disorders including Alzheimer’s disease and other causes of memory impairment. All patients and families seen at the Memory Disorders Center can be assured that they will receive expert treatment with the utmost compassion, sensitivity and respect.
The Litwin-Zucker Center for Research in Alzheimer’s disease and Memory Disorders is a large research and clinical program devoted to the study of Alzheimer’s disease at every level, from basic biology to clinical trials. The Center supports nearly two dozen scientists from North Shore-LIJ’s Feinstein Institute for Medical Research who are running dozens of basic and clinical projects for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related memory problems.
