The Movement Disorders Center improves lives by advancing treatments and cures for illness and disease by pushing the frontiers of science in the clinical treatment of Parkinson’s disease, atypical Parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, essential tremor, Tourette’s syndrome, gait disorders, ataxia and Huntington’s disease. The latest in cutting-edge technology, such as deep brain stimulation (DBS,) and the most advanced medication therapies are employed. The Movement Disorders Research Center focuses on the study of behavior and cognition in living subjects.
