The physicians and clinical specialists in the Nerve Disorders Center treat a number of diseases including Lou Gehrig’s disease, peripheral neuropathy/myopathy, myasthenia gravis, carpal tunnel syndrome, shingles, brachial neuritis and brachial plexus injury, in addition to other nerve disorders. Diagnostic evaluations include skilled clinical assessments, supplemented by neurophysiologic testing, appropriate blood tests and, occasionally, nerve or muscle biopsies or spinal taps.
