The physicians and clinical specialists in the Nerve Disorders Center treat a number of diseases including Lou Gehrig’s disease, peripheral neuropathy/myopathy, myasthenia gravis, carpal tunnel syndrome, shingles, brachial neuritis and brachial plexus injury, in addition to other nerve disorders. Diagnostic evaluations include skilled clinical assessments, supplemented by neurophysiologic testing, appropriate blood tests and, occasionally, nerve or muscle biopsies or spinal taps. The Nerve Disorders Center team works closely with both patients and their families to develop a comprehensive care plan to optimize treatment results.Nerve Disorders Center.
