Over the course of one year, the Emergency Medicine Department at Franklin Hospital in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY, sees approximately 43,000 patients. One of the most advanced emergency medicine departments in the region, it is staffed by all board-certified/board-eligible emergency physicians, dedicated emergency medicine nurses and certified physician assistants 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Franklin Hospital provides a full range of services, including orthopaedics, wound care, pain management, psychiatry, hospice and ambulatory surgery. We also have a 21-bed short-term psychiatric unit.
