Astrocytomas Symptoms and Causes

Astrocytomas are the most common type of brain tumor. The tumor arises from star-shaped glial cells called astrocytes. In adults, astrocytomas most often arise in the cerebrum. Astrocytomas symptoms include: increased intracranial pressure, headache and vomiting, problems with walking and coordination, as well as double vision.
