LIJ Earns Top Ranking for Cardiac Surgery
The New York Department of Health has given a double star ranking to LIJ Medical Center’s cardiac surgery team, including two of their renowned surgeons. It is the only hospital on Long Island and Queens with significantly better outcomes for patients undergoing surgeries to repair or replace heart valves and for those needing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG).
