Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship at NSLIJHS

The Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine Fellowship is a recognized leader in the New York metropolitan area. Our one-year fellowship program trains physicians to develop skills essential for a career in academic medicine or community practice. Palliative medicine fellows work as part of interdisciplinary teams in a hospital consultation service, hospital in-patient unit, hospice in-patient facility and home hospice, with additional opportunities to gain a foundation in all domains of palliative medicine. The faculty comes from a variety of disciplines, including oncology, critical care and geriatric medicine. The fellowship program has a strong collaborative relationship with Hospice Care Network, one of the largest hospice programs in New York State.
