Training Locations

The Colorectal resident rotates quarterly between two well established academic institutions, North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. The hospitals are located approximately two miles apart andapproximately 15 miles east of New York City on Long Island. The Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park is an 829-bed hospital and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset has 731 beds. Together, they serve the greater metropolitan New York area, including Queens and Long Island. North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center have academic affiliations with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the New York University School of Medicine, respectively.
