Chemotherapy Treatments and Procedures
Chemotherapy is a drug therapy that can help stop cancer cells from multiplying. Chemotherapy procedures are the treatments of choice for many forms of cancers, including those affecting the adrenal glands, bladder, kidney, prostate and testis. One of the most common types of cancer treatments, chemotherapy procedures involve the use of drugs or medications to target and eliminate rapidly dividing cancer cells in the body. Chemotherapy treatments are mainly given to prevent recurrence after cancer surgery or radiation therapy or to control the original tumor.
