Esophageal Electrophysiologic Study
Esophageal Electrophysiologic Study
An esophageal electrophysiologic study is an invasive test used to find the site of an arrhythmia’s origin with the heart tissue. With this procedure, a thin flexible tube is inserted in the nostril and placed in the esophagus (close to the atria) to provide a more precise ECG recording.
