Exercise Echocardiography

Exercise Echocardiography Procedure

Exercise echocardiography is a procedure used to indicate the presence of an arrhythmia. Also called a stress test, exercise echocardiography involves the patient walking on a treadmill or pedaling a stationary bike while the electrocardiogram (ECG) is recorded. This test is done to assess changes in the ECG during stress such as exercise.
