Intraoperative MRI

Intraoperative MRI Procedures

Intraoperative MRI (iMRI) procedures are used by neurosurgeons to view the brain accurately throughout the course of surgery. This technology allows the surgeon to identify the best way to remove a brain tumor and to confirm that all of a tumor has been removed during surgery. Interoperative MRI procedures also allow neurosurgeons to remove a brain tumor without damaging other parts of the brain.
