Robotic Assisted Nephrectomy

Robotic Assisted Nephrectomy Treatments and Procedures

Robotic assisted nephrectomy is a computer-assisted surgical procedure that removes a diseased kidney. Instead of directly moving the instruments, the surgeon utilizes a computer console to manipulate the instruments attached to multiple robotic arms. During robotic assisted nephrectomy, the urologist is able to view 3D, highly magnified images of the patient's internal structures and organs.
